I want to give God all the glory for what He has been doing in my life.
There was a season when, although I was going to church and serving in the youth ministry, I felt spiritually dry and didn’t feel like I was growing in my relationship with God. I was often agitated and didn’t even look forward to going to church. I remember telling God honestly that I felt dry and wanted to know Him more.
Looking back, I can see that God answered that prayer by sending my Aunty Jen into my life. She is prophetic, and through her prayers, prophetic words, guidance, and encouragement, God began to speak into my life and give me direction. She didn’t just speak into my life once and leave; she has constantly journeyed with me in my walk with God, praying for me, encouraging me, and pointing me back to Jesus until today.
She told my mum and dad when I was 10 years old, that the “Spirit of God was on me and i would be used mightily by God, watch this girl ” – she said
Through my detours of rebellion and doing things my way against God’s way – I walked through a divorce in my first marriage, walked through cancer and later a total divine restoration that came in the journey and to my second marriage with my wonderful husband Adrian and we now have two kids and another on the way as i testify.
I began to discover my prophetic gifting and, more importantly I began to experience the HIS goodness of God in my life all over and over again.
My relationship with Jesus grew beyond anything I could have imagined. My Quiet time with God became something I genuinely looked forward to every day, rather than something I felt I had to do.
God has also given me a heart to pray for others and journey with them as they grow in their own walk with Him.
When I look back, I realise that God heard my prayer and, in His goodness, brought Aunty Jen into my life at the right time.
I am deeply grateful for how God has used her to speak, pray, and walk alongside me, but above all, I am grateful to Jesus for drawing me closer to Him and showing me what it truly it means to walk with Him step by step through the ups and down of life .All glory belongs to God.
