I want to share a testimony about how God fulfills His promises across the globe, even when we can’t see the way.
During my undergraduate days, my Aunty Jen prophesied over me in 2013 while she was in America. She has always been prophetic and she called me from Florida and told me she had a clear dream of me in a doctor’s lab coat, teaching and in policy making running around on American soil and seeing students around me in America. “
At the time, i was doing my degree in USM Malaysia and it seemed absolutely impossible. I did not even have plans to pursue a postgraduate degree, let alone move across the opposite side of the world. I could not accept it.
But God had a different plan for my life (Jeremiah 33:3). Step by step, He guided me to earn both my Master’s and my PhD in Malaysia, through every trial and setback. My initials is now known as “Dr” – like the dream (word of wisdom that Aunty Jen saw in 2013.
Even then – I was still working at a local University ( Sunway Univercity ) in Malaysia and the fullness of that prophecy hadn’t manifested yet.
Then, God opened a door for year in University of Kyoto Japan, and right after that and today, I am finally working in the US, wearing that lab coat and teaching at University of Wisconsin and heading a faculty at that university as Co-Professor, married to an American sweetheart and residing here to my recent green-card by the US Government, on this land.
All but God could have done this for me. I truly believe “God does nothing without revealing his plan to his prophets” – Amos 3.7
What seemed impossible to me was already written by God, and I give Him all the glory for unveiling his divine blueprint for me.
